Hey Hi mate,

Well, I am using Jmeter 1.8.1 on windows environment, only one cpu, Jdk
version is 1.2.2.
Already iam facing a problem when I start the console, there are some
errors printed in the cmd line. I was told that,
This is bcoz Iam using Jdk1.2.2 But even then the console was up and
functionality was fine.
The Main problem is I cannot open a saved jmx file.

Tell why should I go for Nightly build, even I tried on that Nightly
version(jakarta-jmeter-20030909).
When I run the batch file jmeter.bat, say : C:
\jakarta-jmeter-20030909\bin>jmeter.bat, I get the respose as "OFF".
Nothing was working even on that.

I think I need to install JDK 1.4 and test it out. what u say.
I am in a difficult state, I cant proceed further in my testing, coz at the
end of day all my efforts will go waste.

mail me,
cheers mate,
-kannan

I've suddenly remembered - we had this error, or something very much like
it.

If you can, I suggest trying one of the recent nightly builds using JVM 1.4
- but be warned that nightly builds are not stable.
There are links to the builds on the JMeter web-site. You need to download
and unzip the _lib and _bin files in the same place.

What hardware are you running on? Is there more than one CPU?

Can you send me the full stack trace?

S.
