It's actually the HTTP Sampler that changed to allow this. I don't think
you'll be able to work with only a few classes -- you'll at least need
everything under src/protocol/http/org/apache/jmeter/protocol/http/

An entire release will be safer...

but there was still the same issue. I dont want to take an entire release if I can avoid it.
