The idea of using a single controller is to save having to collect and combine
the log files, which are on remote nodes around our network.

Thanks, did not think of that. I tried using this in the file name for the log
but there is a 'feature' that stops it being expanded. A bug report has
already been raised.
I have changed the thread name to MainTest-${__machineName()} and it now puts
MainTest-host1-1 and MainTest-host2-1 as the thread name in the log file.
