No, there isn't other documentation, and what's there is a bit out of date, which is my fault. However, it hasn't been released officially yet either...
I'd be happy to help out. Here's a brief how-to: Add the Access Log Sampler to your test plan normally, like any other sampler. Input the host name of the server you'll be testing against (this let's you test against a server other than the one the log came from) Ditto the port value Parse Images: I'd leave it false - your log file probably has all the image requests anyway Parser: There's only one, and it supports most standard access log formats (ie, not just Tomcat, I know it works fine with Resin's access log too) Filter: If in doubt, choose the SessionFilter - it will preserve session across requests that come from the same ip address. If you don't need sessions preserved or many of your users come through a proxy, then you either don't need it or you have a problem Log File: hopefully self-explanatory.
