Thanks Milla and Durgs for your information sharing.

But we encountered this problem with even 30 users only. 

And as per our scenarios, 30 users are not considered as load over the
application as we need to cover much higher than that. 

Due to this we said that the load testing is getting affected and nearly
stopped.

hii..
even i got the same error when i tried to run the thread for 500 users.
the jmeter got HANGED (not responding) after 280 threads..
but when i tried to run 300 threads, it went on fine.
so somebody pls answer our query..
i checked with the log document, it had the same msgs as tapaswini recvd.
in the cmd prompt window, the logs were running.
the jmeter application was too slow to respond and later not responding..
it happened when i increased users to 500.
hope somebody helps  us...
