Hi Alf, Your suggesstion is great and it would help to send binary data as the body (which we need to do :-) by appropriately setting the type .

The "Content encoding field" only controls the "charset=" part of the "Content-Type" header being sent. Currently, if only a file name is specified, that file is sent as the only content of the "post body", if it is a HTTP POST request. The Content-type is set to application/x-www-form-urlencoded in that case. Maybe it should be changed, so that it uses the mimetype specified for the file ? I.e., if filename and mimetype, but not "file field name" is specified, then the file is sent as HTTP POST body, with Content-Type header equal to the mimetype ?
