Currently, it's only available in the application using the menus, not

There was a discussion about this last month on the Jmol users list
("App version of Jmol - images and other things").
There's also the possibility to render images using Povray.
Perhaps I could write the code..
A few things can be contributed in the area of exporting images :
- support from the applet
- specifying more parameters when generating image files (size, ...)
- animations
- ...
