I gues that that needs all lower case...: compchem Anyway, compchem is nowadays part of CDK... > This project is not known by sourceforge. > > Q: I assume that you want the 2D rendering from JChemPaint, not the > editing stuff at this time. Please confirm. Yes, the rendering would be just find for now. But... if both renderers, 2D and 3D, would reference to the same container, an edit in the 2D would correspond to an edit in 3D... this would fail however, when drawing new atoms, as there is no 3D coordinate generator yet... > Q: Is the 2D renderer in cdk just cloned code from JChemPaint? JChemPaint 2.0 (currently in the alpha phase) uses the 2D renderer from CDK... (or the other way around, if you prefer that: CDK uses the 2D renderer from JChemPaint 2.0 ;) > Q: Should I pull JChemPaint sources as anonymous, or should you add me to > the developer list? Check out the JCPCDK module. I've just added you as developer. > Q: Assuming that JChemPaint and cdk/Renderer2D are related, who worked on > the initial migration? Is he/she still actively associated with cdk? That would be Christoph, or maybe one of his workers... not sure.
