I have been testing the b6 applet in advance of the v8 release. It looks
fine.
I updated the color name table and checked in the current cdk .jar files.
I successfully tested the applet on the following:
Win32
IE 5.5 with MSFT jvm
NS 4.76
Mozilla 1.3 + Java Plug-in 1.4.1_01
Red Hat Linux 9.0
Mozilla 1.2.1 + Java Plug-in 1.4.1_02-b06
This platform had a problem with running JavaScript onLoad
examples: the onLoad scripts were not run.
This is not anything that we introduced with this release,
but must be a browser bug that we did not observe in
previous releases.
Konqueror 3.1-15 + Java 1.4.1_02-b6
My plan is to update the jmol-web documentation later today. I will
introduce some references to the upcoming jmol 10 release, particularly in
the scripting area.
