Good. I already had the feeling that it should have been part of the 
adapter... But how does that work then? URL opening is now not taken care of
by the adapter...

Well, if we can resolve the security issues (certificates?? Christoph?), then
maybe the applet is fine too... Personally, I would not be in favor of that, 
but if people would appreciate such functionality -> let's add it then...
