Hi,

Size, ok, but people get the freedom to choose a XML library...
An honest question ... What is the value in giving people a choice of XML
library?
What is more complex ?
1. To write a parser for all arbitrary chemical file formats, nearly every program introduces proudly it's own format (why, just why ?)!
or
2. To write a complex parser (CML) to allow to store and read ALL (actual available and all following unknown requested) informations in a verbose way ?

So, i think, this depends on your requirements.

Kind regards, Joerg
