Hi Miguel, We have a lecturer who is working on/has come up with an algorith for predicting helix types based on alpha carbons (not sure if it applies to turns and sheets). I've got a meeting with him in the morning for something else, but I'll have a chat to him about your email and see what he can come up with... I'm sure he'll be able to help
