I just checked in another round of Dave's Ribbons & Mesh code. It looks *really* good. I encourage you to check out the current source and try the following: load samples/pdb/1crn.pdb cpk off ribbons on color ribbons structure
You will see that the triangles forming the ribbon are not properly shaded yet ... but it looks *wicked* :-) Then try: ribbons off mesh on color mesh amino I have added Dave to jmol development team so that he can work against the developer cvs repository and check in his own code.
