The Cone drawing code for the tops of the vectors gets very unhappy (and breaks) if the cone is too flat. It is a bug that will need to be fixed some day. In this case, I suspect that you made the vectors 'oversquare', with the diameter wider than the length. vector 1.0 Or something like that.
