Yes, but it will need some time to finish this work. My actual priority
is to build the Debian packages.

Ok. I will reformat the xml file. There is currently a bug in bluefish,
so the use of spaces instead of tabs is not working. I hope, they will
fix it soon. Then I will rewrite the guide and upload it.

I currently use (e.g. for the applet guide):

JmolAppletGuide.pot (which contains the translatable strings)
JmolAppletGuide.de.po (which contains the German translation)

Ta add another translation, easily copy JmolAppletGuide.pot to
JmolAppletGuide.la.po, translate it and turn it into the xml files (with
xml2po:

xml2po -p JmolAppletGuide.la.po browser.docbook.xml >
browser_la.docbook.xml

Use this for all pert files, which were added to the .pot).

No, they are not always cut. E.g.

<para> ... <programlisting> ... </programlisting> ... </para>

is cut into 3 translatable strings (I don't prefer the above usage of
<programlisting> inside of <para> and changed it JmolDevelopersGuide to
close <para> before opening <programlisting>)

<para> ... <emphasis> ... </emphasis> ... </para>

is one translatable string. I checked the translated xml files with
xmllint and they were valid.

I don't know, but supposably not.
