Nico,

If I was going to be disconnected for 10 days then I would probably work
on javadoc comments in the code.

I realize that this may be something that you are not comfortable with
because there are parts of the code that are not familiar to you.

I believe that this bug may be erroneous.

Jmol can read the file Jmol-datafiles/gamess/water.out

I want to come up with a good, professional extension for MediaWiki that
will allow us to embed Jmol applets and JavaScript controls into
MediaWiki-based wikis.

Nico, I think that it would be worthwhile for you to spend time
investigating this and building some prototypes.

Goals for our solution should be:
 - runs on MediaWiki
 - uses standard MediaWiki extension mechanism
 - generates HTML that uses Jmol.js
 - provides full access to JmolApplet
   * jmolApplet(...);
 - provides full access to JavaScript controls
   * jmolButton(...);
   * jmolCheckbox(...);
   * jmolMenu(...);
 - functionality offered within the MediaWiki extension should try to
parallel that of the Jmol.js JavaScript library

I realize that this may not be easy for you, because it will require that
you have MediaWiki installed and running on your laptop. (apache httpd +
php + MySQL). But if you could get it set up then I think it would be a
good think for you to spend time on.

Miguel
