> Also, Miguel -- What's a "sasurface"?

sasurface == solvent accessible surface

It is distinguished from 'isosurface'

I have put a tremendous amount of energy into solvent accessible surface
... much more than any other part of Jmol.

I have made several attempts to implement it, but have always been unhappy
with the performance of the results.

I have come up with several 'new-and-improved' algorithms to increase the
performance of the static solvent accessible surface calculations and
(more importantly) the rendering speed.

I am terribly depressed that I have not been able to get it to work.

I still have a couple of other ideas, but I need to work up the courage to
tackle that mountain again.
