I like the experiment. Just wondering what happens when some hacker

Nico, if this were your private wiki, I'd have no concern. But I am
concerned if it's an "official" place. I just don't know....
Personnally, I don't have this concern ;)
For me, the wiki is just a place to put informations useful for the Jmol
community. What can be expected (even with no garantee) in the future releases
is part of this info (IMHO).
I take the wiki as no more official place than the mailing lists: what is said
is the responsibility of the author, not of the development team.
I am administering the wiki and I am monitoring the changes made to the pages.
If I see changes made by Miguel, Egon, you, ... I will be pretty confident on
them. If I see changes from unregistered users or new users, I will be more
careful.
I think that the advantages of a wiki are far more important than its
drawbacks. The problems can be fixed quickly when having a few sysops (for the
moment Miguel and me, but I will add others)
Administering the wiki will also evolve with the experience of what will happen.
It's highly configurable so we can adapt it. For example, if some pages are to
be considered very important and official, I can make them editable only to
sysops.
Time will tell what is the best way to manage the wiki.
