Sorry, what I'm trying to say is that first check the applet

Since I almost never use the applet, that is difficult for me 'check the
applet functionality'.

Oh, OK. Others do it relatively easily by going to a page with an applet on it. For example, in this case, to check out how bob200603 works, you would go to

http://www.stolaf.edu/people/hansonr/jmol/test/proto/new.htm

and start entering commands in the cmd: entry box.

HONK HONK !!!

Caveate: Tim Driscoll just pointed out to me that my implemenation of
rotation in 10.x requires integers, not decimals. I guess that
happened when I integrated spin and rotation. Is there really a use
for FRACTIONAL degree rotation?

:-)

I made the same *mistake* in an early version of Jmol long ago. Someone
(not Tim) complained that I was not allowing fractions of degrees when
specifying rotations. I said that it was useless. They said that Chime
supported it. I put it in.

I suppose. It's easy enough to do.

Is it possible that we could accept a
decimal here and integerize it? Doesn't really matter to me, but it
would one line in Eval to make it an integer, and significantly more
to allow actual decimals.

nevermind.
