Ups! that message slipped for me; I wasn't subscribed to jmol-developers; now I am. Luckily I perused the archives.

Yes, I will do that for the home page. Indeed,  to avoid such waiting as Bob describes, I have being using a hyperlink pointing to jmol.org/websites (a small page) instead of jmol.org/

I also want to try as another possibility using jmolSetDocument(false), which I just found about, to make the applet appear when the user clicks. I would call this "popping-in" :-)

These are some of my plans:

- update (in progress) Jmol web for description of version 11
- update (in progress) JS library doc. page for v11
- write documentation / example page for getProperty, particularly atom identification.
- write documentation / example page for surfaces of all kinds (there are many different script commands for the different surfaces)
