Jmol 11.3.34 is ready for release.

We need to discuss the POV-Ray dialog and see how we can update this to
the new POV-Ray export facility.

What aspects of that dialog do we need to still have?

What aspects of POV-Ray should we add?

Right now you can create a povray input file of any size:

  write povray 400 600 # width 400, height 600

Do check out fancy cartoons:

  load =1crn.pdb;
  set hermitelevel 5
  restrict none;select *;cartoons on
  color cartoons group
  write povray 800 800 t.pov

And I am happy to report that mapped isosurfaces are no problem.

Also, I added a nice feature -- when you create a POV-Ray file t.pov, Jmol
automatically saves the state as t.pov.spt. In addition, Jmol saves the state
as a comment INSIDE the .pov file, so you can
use just

  script t.pov

to reload the Jmol state corresponding to that POV-Ray file.

Quick heads up: I found some nasty bugs.

# bug fix: select [SET] or [2MO] or [DB']
# bug fix: app -c flag errors not going to Logger.Error
# bug fix: no partial charges!
# bug fix: 11.3.14 - 11.3.33 do not write colormapped JVXL files
# bug fix: Using isosurface within 1.0 @pt1 where pt1 is a draw point
save state cannot be restored
