Nico, I find the number of new, false, users per day in Jmol Wiki is just ridiculous. They do not insert much spam thanks to the measures you activated, but having this number of useless entries will eventually hamper the system. In my opinion you should disable user auto-sign up altogether. I don't mind to take care of accepting new users manually; it will be less work than clearing all these fake entries.
