No, I think use should leave it on by default. I debated about finding a way to turn it off. I my case it didn't get in the way, so I didn't care. Leaving the "frank" on is the quickest and easiest way to get new users. Telling people how to turn it off is sufficient. If they care, they will turn it off. If they don't care, then everyone will know what term to search for to find the software (win win)

Jmol is trying to be Chime compatible :-)
