It is not clear to me where you want to add this residue number.

Yes ... I introduced that bug when I put in support for insertion codes.

Q: Please confirm that RasMol does *not* have this behavior.

It turns out that it is very expensive to correctly solve this problem
with 100% accuracy.

I suspect that Chime is using some 'approximation' to guess which residue
of a cartoon/trace was clicked on.

Q: Does anyone have any ideas/guesses as to how Chime decides which
residue was selected?
