OK.   I got the problem fixed in terms of always displaying v-19 
instead of 17.   Miguel you are right, the java cache needs to be 
cleared to go backwards.  However, I have discovered that I was 
clearing cache for java 1.3.2 (on the PC) rather than 1.4 xx.  The 
control panel was off page :-).

Sorry about that.
Now if I can just get the buttons issue resolved.
