I think that 'show model' should be considered at an *immature* state of implementation. It shows properties associated with the currently loaded model. Some models have more properties than others. The plan is to use it to store energy levels and misc stuff. The one property that you may be seeing with your xyz file is the model name line. Why don't you document it, but classify it as 'experimental'.
