Having got onto the topic of scripts and jmol with regard to saving
(or not being able to save, as it transpires) a series of images to
subsequently process into a movie, I started wondering about scripts
themselves. I assume (but may be wrong in doing so) that Jmol can use
.spt files. What struck me watching students write these scripts was
how primitive they were. There were no loop constructs, for example,
so if one wanted to rotate one had to repeat the same set of
instructions n times. Is this the case with Jmol? If so could it be
changed? Where is scripting Jmol documented?
