right -- so in that case, specify the model in either the target atom selection or the initial selection. No need (upon the next release) to specify both, because there will be no bonds made between models no matter what you ask for. You could say, for example:

select (*/1, */2, */3) and bromine
connect (atomno=2)

or

select within(2.4, bromine)
connect (bromine and (*/1, */2, */3))

Again, this is just if you want to only have the action taken in some subset of the models.
