Per Egon's message ... the V3000 format is not currently supported in
native Jmol. That is, the CDK reader is not used by Jmol.

Adding a new reader to Jmol is generally not difficult.

You indicated that your situation was *urgent*.

It would be useful for us to have some more information:

Q: Are you using the Jmol application, the Jmol applet, or the Jmol viewer
as a Java component?


The V3000 file format allows one to store more information than many file
formats ...

Q: Do you need anything other than atoms, bonds, and formal charges?

One way to think about this is ... would simple .xyz files or .mol files
meet your needs?

Q: Are you using reactions or anything like that?

The format supports *wildcard* atom types that are unnamed. Jmol cannot
deal with this situation ...

Q: Do any of you files contain *wildcard* atoms?
