I do not recall this ever being implemented.

I think it was discussed as an implementation technique, but that it was
not fully developed.

Will not currently work.

Q: What is your motivation for being able to capture the screen as an image?

Q: Why not use the Jmol application?

Q: If this is for students, why not have them use Alt-PrtScreen (on
Windows boxes) ?
