The basis for methods 3, 4 and 5 is an inline frame (IFRAME tag in 
HTML) that contains a full webpage. So, what is shown initially in 
the square can be any html content -- text, image, a combination...-- 
Same goes for what is shown later: Jmol applet plus any supplementary 
content, like the checkbox and links I put for a sample.

Both things can be easily done. Right now, the pop-up window has a 
name, that's why only one window is used for both molecules. But each 
one could open in a separate window. In my opinion, user's 
preferences will vary. Even an option could be offered for one 
behaviour or the other.

Well, really versions 4 and 5 work the same. I just did some 
restyling on the go. As I just said, either text or image or both are 
feasible.
