Alan, check values not in radii.xls, but in the source, http://svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/jmol/trunk/Jmol/src/org/jmol/viewer/JmolConstants.java?vie w=markup that's where Jmol takes them from.
Maybe something changed along versions (it shouldn't, I think). I'll try to see my periodic table using 10.9.... no, it's got the same aspect.
