Just to make sure you are not misleaded: important is not the URL of the
page but of the applet that is loaded.

OK, I see. To make sure I am understanding you correctly - even though the URLs above are quite similar, the query part of the URL is directing the browser to different sub-directories to get the different Jmol versions, correct?
