Yes, ChemDraw was one I was talking about.. The other is MDL IsisDraw (there is 
a free 
version). Both Win and Mac.
 Don't know if they allow to save 3D models

Regarding the generation of 3D online, yes, it was Corina3D. It seems they are 
now moving 
the server, don't know if it will affect (free) availability. See

Corina free takes only SMILES as input, but you should be able to generate that 
with some 
other program (it can be done with... guess what? ChemSketch ;-!  ).   Probably 
OpenBabel 
will do it.
