Thanks for the testing. Everything seems to be working well across OSs and 
browsers, I'm 
so happy. Up to now, I thought this was impossible.

Yes, I see similar things under Win on some of the browsers, but they give no 
trouble.

Well, I suppose it could be forced, but since the overall purpose is to have 
everything resized 
automatically, it would be troublesome. It could be done in v. 0.3-0.4 where 
javascript takes 
care of the sizes, but certainly it won't be easy in v.0.5, where it's the 
browser doing the 
resizing (and that's the beauty of it).
Do you see any trouble in getting too small an applet? Remember it's the user 
who is resizing 
the window at will; if the applet is barely seen, all (s)he has to do is 
increase the size of the 
window! And Jmol seems to behave at very small sizes.
