Hi Angel,

Thanks for your good idea.  I tried it and it works!
I will have to work on preparing the input files to select the range  
correctly ( normally, I want to use a little more than just one unit  
cell for the channel surface).  It is a bit involved and I have to do  
it outside Jmol (I think), but it will work and that is the main thing.

Incidentally, your comment also helped me  to solve another problem I  
had with generating the surfaces for "my" zeolites .
