Wonderful news! I've being reading several pages of applets that
accept a
<param name="lang" value="de" />
I've done so in a test, using jmolAppletAddParam(), and it puts the
correct param, but of course does nothing.

I don't think that is necessary. One can prepare a front page that
prepares the user to choose language, then load whatever page with
the jmolSetLanguage() prepared accordingly. After all, the page
itself will not change language on-the-fly (or will it? ;-( )
