how can I use

I may be wrong, but I couldn't find an answer to
this part of Christian's question. If I do eg:
depth plane y=10; slab plane y=15; slab on;
this replaces rather than additionally restricts:
depth plane x=10; slab plane x=15; slab on;

What I would like is to define a visible sub-volume eg:
x=(10,15) and y=(6,12) and z=(8,10)
(and maybe have rotations re-centered on this slab/volume).

BTW, there is an example of nice _javascript_ slider controls on
http://www.blueshoes.org/_bsJavascript/components/slider/examples/example9.html
This could eventually be adapted to displaying such slabs/sub-volumes.

Alan.
