Dear Bob,

Using Jmol applet 11.3.57_dev December 12, 15:56:

Watching two unaligned different molecules rotate in synch, using the
mouse, each around its own center, gave me goosebumps! HURRAY!

The slave movements are now much smoother and more closely
synchronized -- much less thrashing.

Also zooming with the wheel now sync's very nicely. GREAT!

HOWEVER:

I seem unable to get more than one Jmol to send mouse movements to
the others. With "set syncMouse on; set syncScript off" in each Jmol,
then issuing "sync * on" makes only the recipient of that command
send. When I issue "sync . on" in the slave, it start sending, but
then the other Jmol stops sending.

Is this intentional?

I think it is optimal if the user can mouse any Jmol, and all the
others follow.

In my working tutorial shell, I have a "Synchronize" checkbox. This
makes it easy for the user to see whether sync is on or off, and to control it.

It is frustrating to spend time aligning two molecules, then turn on
sync, and move one, only to spoil the alignment.

Is there some reason we can't have "sync * on" with "set syncMouse"
(and "set syncScript false") with all Jmols sending? After all, it is
impossible to put the mouse in more than one at a time!
