Rich, the popup menu is entirely cunstomizable. You can save whatever modifications you want to a file and then modify it to make it do whatever you want it to do. So it sounds to me like you should perhaps consider that as an option and then educate your users to use the popup menu. That should not be so difficult. In addition, using script files that you produce using the WRITE STATE command, you can deliver precisely the view you want - even including an annotation pointing out the pop-up menu. It's very flexible.
