Hoi, I have been following this mailing list for some time now and I am favourably impressed with the implementation of JMOL on proteopedia<http://www.proteopedia.org/wiki/index.php/Main_Page>. I find it a shame that JMOL is not implemented on Wikipedia. What I wonder is this; the problem is with the fact that JMOL makes use of java script. This makes it both powerful and somewhat dangerous.
Would it be possible to create a progess where the JMOL data and have it validated in some way.. What I really like in the proteopedia wiki are the green links that show different aspects. Obviously convinving the WMF takes some doing. I believe however that this can and should be done. The first question is is this something that you would consider worthwhile, the second question is this a reasonable approach. Thanks, GerardM http://www.proteopedia.org/wiki/index.php/Avian_Influenza_Neuraminidase%2C_Tamiflu_and_Relenza#Neuraminidase_Structure_and_Conserved_Amino_Acids
