So yesterday, I'm in my office making some lcaoCartoons before class,
and all seems to be going well. I'm writing the page on a fully
updated OS X 10.4.11 MacBook Pro and testing the pages on my PowerMac
G5 that, I hadn't noticed, had not had Apple's latest security update
installed. Right before going to class, I pull the page up on my MBC
just to make certain it would work on the computer that I bring to
class and it didn't. When hitting the button to run the script
nothing happened and the applet became unresponsive.

I thought, "Wow, why do PPC Macs (running OS X 10.4.11) behave
differently than Intel Macs (OS X 10.4.11)?" Then while trying to
reinstall software on my Intel mac (reinstalling Java, etc) just in
case something had gotten hosed, I ran software update on my G5 and
installed the latest security update (for OS X 10.4.11) from Apple.
Suddenly, the lcaoCartoons stopped working on my PPC.

I should note that all the other scripts that I've written still work
(creating isosurfaces, moving models around, measuring angles,
changing bonds and atoms using wireframe/spacefill). Only drawing
lcaoCartoons stopped working.

So, the big question, it it just me or are other Mac users having
issues with lcaoCartoons only fully updated installations of 10.4.11?

Thanks,
Chris
