1. Please remove the statement that "set defaultdirectory" applies
only to the applet. It does work for the application, 12.0.12.
However, it affects only the source of files read, not the
destination to which files are written! IS THIS A BUG?

2. "cd" changes both the source of files read and the destination of
files written. Thus is is currently NOT equivalent to "set
defaultdirectory". Unless this is a bug, the documentation should be corrected.

3. Under "set currentlocalpath" and also under "set defaultdirectory"
please refer to "cd ..." in order to set the default directory for
writing files. "cd ..." works, so it is NOT equivalent to "set
currentlocalpath" which changes the source of files read, but does
not affect the location to which e.g. "write xxx.pdb" goes.

4. If it was intended that there be separate commands for reading and
writing directories, how about adding "set defaultReadDirectory" and
"set DefaultWriteDirectory"? These would be much less confusing.

My tests concerned local files only.

Thanks, -Eric

Start uncovering the many advantages of virtual appliances
and start using them to simplify application deployment and
accelerate your shift to cloud computing.
