Surprisingly it works too this morning even if I tried yesterday several times 
including after re-starting Jmol...

I'll send you the aforementioned corrupted  Jmol files created yesterday and 
the ones created this morning.
By the way, the "set picking dragmolecule" property doesn't seem to be stored 
in the state file (and it's not documented yet)
