Bob,
scriptWait and scriptWaitAsArray seem not to be working as advertised in
the latest JSmol update. They return a string that looks like an array, but
can't be parsed and cast as an array by something like $.parseJSON because
of the presence of unquoted Jmol commands. Any idea what's up? Just tried
messing around with it in the console here:
http://chemapps.stolaf.edu/jmol/jsmol/test2.htm?USE=HTML5
I use scriptWaitAsArray to pull JSmol's state into Javascript.
Others, if there are any Javascript wizards out there who know of a good
way to pull the real output out of something like this, I'd love to know.
Cheers, Mike
