Dear Bob,

you were right. TRANSLUCENT triggers the issue. Basically, with "translucent" only the cube faces are written in the IDTF file. Without translucent you get both the protein and the cube, as with "mesh nofill".

Cheers,
p.

what happens if you make it not translucent? Could have a bug there.

    Dear all,

I need to add a grid box to my image. I used the following commands:

    boundbox corners {18.908, -15.639, 7.506} {34.658, 0.111, 25.506} off
    draw id grid_box boundbox color {100, 255, 100} translucent

which work just fine; however when I convert to IDTF I only get
    the box,
while in my view I also had a protein. If I remove those two lines, I
get the protein again, so the issue is in the boundbox. So far I have
never had a problem with DRAW objects, which render perfectly in
    IDTF files.
Can anybody suggest an alternative DRAW method to display a box
    which is
    correctly exported to IDTF format?

    Thanks, best regards
    Paolo
