Time ago, one of the objections to include Jmol in Wikipedia was that "arbitrary Javascript" should not be allowed to execute from within a malicious Jmol Script. A flag was implemented to block javascript calls within Jmol scripts (and it is enabled by default, or may be enforced, in the Jmol MediaWiki Extension). Yes, it sounds funny now, but still there may be a basis for it. Don't know...
