As a great fan of this feature under Java, I am pleased to report this "just
worked" for me based on

and delightfully it works for Java and JSMol.

I have an observation. When running an animation (21 frames) in the popup
window (JSmol) the speed of the animation is inversely proportional to the size
of the popup window. This means it gets a bit jerky when made very large. (iMac
3.4 GHz Core i7 Safari i.e. not normally slow)
As far as I can tell the Java version maintains the same speed.
