Sorry, that's a misunderstanding. That sentence applies to buttons, links, etc. but just not to intiialize and applet. Those have completely new ways. It is described in the Wiki. Or, you can leave everything as it was and use the (new) Jmol2.js "converter library" which is also described in the Wiki.
