Hi
I may have not made myself clear - or I'm misunderstanding something.
I'm testing this via a local web server e.g http://:localhost/jsmol not
directly on the local drive.
I can display .pse and .xyz.gz files
It does work with JSmol 13.3.0 2013-07-18 !
But not with JSmol 13.3.1 2013-07-19
nor with, say, JSmol 13.3.9 2013-09-18
All with same version of Chrome
The 'sleight of hand' explains why things work when the .pdb file is
present.
But I know (just retested, cleared browser cache, no .pdb file present)
.pdb.gz display with Chrome JSmol 13.3.0 2013-07-18 and earlier.
